About Paul…

I never thought of myself as an artist. My songs are swords and shields protecting me from the impenetrable cruelty and injustice of the world, while simultaneously striking a blow against the same. They are sinews that connect me to myself and the visible and invisible world. They are spontaneous gifts, and also hard-wrought artifacts of the soul that I’m called to share with the community of living things. Paradoxically, I make sound and noise in the service of silence, of voices crying in the wilderness.
